Energy Sync 2
Over the winter we were able to team up with the Shawano High School Agriculture Department and do some trails with the first phase in the Energy Sync program. We seed treated alfalfa seeds with a variety of ounces of seed power. The horticulture class planted the same number of seeds in each tray and kept an eye on them for dates of emergence, root and top growth, and also did stand counts. It was a great experiment and we would like to thank the Shawano High School Horticulture class for all of their help and great observations! Here are some of the pictures from the experiment.

The below picture was taken two weeks after planting. We were surprised by the drastically different size of roots and top growth.

From this trial we found that there wasn’t a significant difference between the amount of a Seed Power that was applied in the trial, but there was a significant difference between the treatments and the control. The amount of top growth and the leaf size on the treated plants were significantly higher than the control, which is something we are very excited about. If you would like any additional information about this trial, please contact your Enviro Pros agronomist. Once again, thank you to the Shawano High School Horticulture class for all of your help on this project.

Calibration Day Spring 2012
Equipment and Technology Calibration Training Day Tuesday, April 10, 2012.
We conduct a Equipment and Technology Calibration Training session right before Spring Planting Season begins every year.
This in-field event allows us to utilize the latest Crop Input Technologies in conjunction with the equipment calibration process to make sure we are correctly applying all products as accurately as possible.
Service is very important to our farmer customers and having this training assures that our service is the “Best” that can be offered in Northeastern Wisconsin.
We would like to Thank Jim Mahoney and his farm staff for the opportunity to conduct this Calibration Day on his farm this year!!

The Next Generation Yield Bump
A crop needs a ‘Full Circle Approach’ in order to hit the next generation yield bump.
It starts out with a Nutrient Management and Good Fertility, moves to Seed Selection and Placement, is followed by Crop Care, and is all tied together by Information Management and Decision Making for the following year.

With this seasons strong commodity prices, Crop Care is an extremly important piece of the puzzle. AgVentures has a 'Full Circle Crop Care' Program for Winter Wheat, Soybeans and Corn. Please see the links below.
